Book Pride is an exhibition promoted and organized by ODEI, Observatory of Independent Publishers, an association founded with the aim of giving voice and representation to independent publishing, promoting of reading and defending the “bibliodiversity”, in order to guarantee editorial pluralism and therefore cultural.
On Saturday 16th of March, from 4 pm, with the author, the book “Games, Powers and Democracies” (edited by EGEA, available also in Italian “Ludocrazia”) will be presented in Palazzina Liberty. The topic of the book is the Gamification: the application of dynamics of videogames in non-gaming contexts, a technique developed in marketing and today in rapid diffusion in different fields, from political communication to journalism, passing through lobbying and government activities. “Games, Powers and Democracies” explores the potential and limits of use of gamification in the public sector, trying to imagine how it could be transformed the exercise of power in the near future.
