The Italian Inclusion Leaders Network (IILN) organizes a two-day training on Political Leadership in collaboration the German Marshall Fund of the United States and with the topic “Building Political Participation in Our Italian Cities”. The training will held at the Sala Congregazioni of the Turin Municipality.
The IILN provides an opportunity for rising leaders from minority backgrounds to work in coalition in order to advance equity and inclusion. The participants come from diverse ethnic, religious, migrant, and other backgrounds as well as from civil society, business, media, and academia. In partnership with the City of Torino, the training wants to enhance civic engagement and political leadership among minority communities.
The afternoon session, “Effective Messaging & Communications for Issue Campaigns,” will take place on friday 11 of May from 15:15 to 17:00 with the aim of sharing principles of framing an issue, creating a winning message, and understanding how to lobby decision-makers effectively.
