The closure conference of the Chaire MADP (Mutations de l’Action publique et du Droit Public) is organized in Paris on the 21 and 22 June 2018. Since its creation in 2007, the Chaire (MADP) of Sciences Po Paris has focused on the legal instruments required for modernising public action. The activities of the Chaire have notably been characterised by their comparative law approach and by an interest in the phenomenon of legal globalisation. The closure conference will be an opportunity to discuss and reflect about the future of administrative law in Europe and elsewhere. What are the forces for change and what changes will they bring about? Where will evolutions be observed most clearly? What are the main challenges that lie ahead? The conference aims, in other words, at imagining the future of administrative law.
The two days conference is divided in different workshops and a plenary session. In particular, the workshop “Smart cities” is scheduled on Thursday 21 of June from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
