Saturday the 11st of November – from 10 am to 1 pm – the City of Turin hosts a conference in which professors and politicians will reflect on the scenarios connected to the “hybrid” organizational forms that replace the traditional forms of militancy and to the informal networks that are formed to build a better society, starting from supranational institutions more complex to the territories.
The participants start from the following bullet points and they try to discover also the new role of political parties in a such complex scenario:
- The space of politics has changed profoundly in recent years, becoming a field where parties and party leaders are dailing with a confidence that is increasingly worn out by the economic crisis.
- Citizens’ participation is generally seen as a vital aspect of society and many theorists claim that participation has positive effects on the quality of democracy.
- Civic networking proliferates now spread across all territories and are naturally connecting with each other, even in center-periphery dialogue, acquiring new tools, learning from each other, sharing risks.
