The representation of interests and the relationship with the institutions, in an open government perspective, is an emerging theme in the public debate to transform what a lot of people consider a problem into an opportunity to improve the quality of legislation (and public decisions in general).
The Council of Piemonte Region, in collaboration with the OpenLobby and FB & Associati project, organizes a moment of reflection and deepening between institutions and local actors.
The conference will be held on Friday the 26th of October, from 9 am to 1:30 pm, Palazzo Lascaris – Via Vittorio Alfieri 15 – Turin.
The conference will be organized in two main sessions: a first one for the contextualization of the subject entrusted to academics and experts of the subject, the second one will be a workshop in order to exchange experiences and suggestions between social, economic and institutional actors of Piemonte Region.
In conclusion, the representatives of the Legislative Assembly of Piemonte Region will gather the ideas that emerged during the day, with the aim of opening a process that leads to the definition of a regional law that integrates consultations, transparency registers and other tools for participation and accountability.
