Organized jointly by the LUISS Guido Carli School of Government and by the Sole24Ore Business School, the mast in ‘Political Management’ provides advanced and up-to-date training for professionals and practitioners (from the private and the public sectors) interested in consolidating their knowledge of political systems at national and supranational levels. The master offers an unique combination of theory and in-class exercises through which acquire and develop the ability to understand complex contemporary political issues. Participants in the master are asked to analyze key case-studies and to participate in debate with politicians, academics, activists and professionals carrying out qualified functions in local, national and international institutions.
The module on ‘political participation’ is focused on participation for and from politics. Students explore the new venues of participation created by political parties to foster engagement among voters, analyze the issues of participatory rights in institutional environments (e.g. transparency, accountability) and are involved in organizing large-scale consultations to experience the issues related with such forms of direct participation.
